Wilmslow, which lies just beyond Greater Manchester and Manchester Airport is conveniently located close to South and central Manchester. Wilmslow is a Cheshire town and therefore not currently covered by the lockdown, but is near enough to Manchester and Manchester Airport to be an excellent option for travellers who would prefer to stay outside the affected areas when visiting Manchester. Cheshire towns Warrington and Lymm are also convenient alternative options to staying in Manchester city centre. Easily accessible from Manchester and Liverpool, Travel Lodge and Premier Inn both also have hotels in the Warrington and Lymm areas, providing cheap hotel accommodation in Warrington tonight. The Holiday Inn, Warrington and Ibis Budget Hotels, Warrington and Lymm are also a stone’s throw away from central Manchester, Manchester Airport and Liverpool city centre, making them convenient for travellers from either city.

LANCASHIRE & CHORLEY HOTELS

Chorley, which lies to the South of Preston and north of Manchester is further out, being around 45 minutes drive away from Manchester Airport, but again a safe option. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel in Chorley, check out the Premier Inn Chorley North, Premier Inn Chorley South, the Best Western Park Hotel and the Wrightington Hotel and Health Club, all in or very close to Chorley. Another Chorley hotel in the area and conveniently situated close to the M6 is the Ramada Wyndham Chorley South which is close to Charnock Richard and only around 20 minutes drive from North Manchester.
